On 7th June, Sarah, the wife of a much-loved former Cleankill colleague Tony, got together Tony’s nearest and dearest to take on the Midnight Walk in aid of St Catherine’s Hospice. 

The Midnight Walk is a 20 mile, 13 mile, 7 mile, or a shorter 2 mile route under the stars. But this isn’t just a walk, this is a community coming together to honour and remember their loved ones. Throughout the event there are opportunities to remember their loved ones and reflect. 

Two Cleankill colleagues have been raising money for the Royal Marsden. Administrator Stephanie Douch and Surveyor Josh Bates both walked the 15 miles between The Royal Marsden in Chelsea and the Royal Marsden in Sutton.

A stellar group of individuals have got together in aid of raising money for a much loved Cleankill Pest Control employee who sadly passed away this year.

Tony’s wife Sarah has got together a team of his friends and family (nicknaming themselves Tony’s Supergirls) to take part in the midnight walk on the 7th June to raise money for St Catherine’s Hospice. Not only does this walk under the stars raise money for an amazing cause, but is also a chance for friends and family to come together and remember their loved ones. 

On Saturday 7th September our bird work team member Martin Newman took on the massive challenge of completing a 100km walk in 24hrs!

Martin began walking at 10am Saturday morning and finished at 3am on Sunday morning. He didn’t quite make the 100km as “his legs and feet got the better of him” and the weather meant a lot of people took a tumble including Martin. His achievement is still incredible and he raised lots of money for an amazing cause - The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
