A group of Cleankill staff got into the Christmas spirit by volunteering at the Winter Festival organised by The Children's Trust in the grounds of the charity’s national specialist centre at Tadworth Court in Surrey,
Alex Donovan, his partner Chloe, Martin Newman, Harry Colyer and Chris Davis were given gate and light path marshalling duties during the Winter Festival organised by The Children's Trust to help make Christmas magical for children and young people with brain injury and neurodisability.
The Winter Festival included a host of festive activities and attractions for the whole family. There were crafts, stalls and live performances along with mulled wine and hot chocolate.
Martin Owen, Risk and Assurance Manager at The Children’s Trust, worked alongside the Cleankill team and said the volunteers were: “Excellent and a credit to you and your company. They dealt with visitors courteously, confidently and competently and with great warmth and humour. I enjoyed their presence immensely.”
The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury and neurodisability delivering rehabilitation, education and community services.
Cleankill Pest Control has had a special association with the Children’s Trust at Tadworth Court for many years having also funded the redecoration and actively helped redecorate the dining areas.
