They say an active mind makes a happy person and, after last week, I think I can concur. It was a week that certainly required a lot of focus because, in addition to running an expanding pest control company, we also had two very important exhibitions and two award ceremonies. It’s at time like this that you realise how important having a good team around you is!
Firstly, the exhibitions – one as an attendee and one as an exhibitor and sponsor.
This is one of those months when there is so much to write about that it is hard to know where to begin.
Readers of my blog will know Cleankill understand the importance of entering awards as part of running a successful business. We know good marketing and self-promotion are a vital component of any business plan.
A new year heralds the commencement of many things and at Cleankill this includes the start of the 2018 promotional diary. Last April I wrote about a few busy weeks in May when we attended a number of business exhibitions and award ceremonies.
I have been looking through the promotional plans for May and it is definitely going to be a busy month with three business expos in two days. On 10th May we will again be at Kent Vision Live, taking place at The Kent Event Centre. With over 3,000 participants coming together at the Detling Showground, near Maidstone, this exposition describes itself as the “South East’s premier B2B exhibition and the largest event of its kind in the UK.”
Cleankill Pest Control was named ‘Green Business of the Year’ at the 2017 Gatwick Diamond Business Awards on 16th March 2017. The award, sponsored by Crawley Borough Council, was presented to the company that exhibited best overall environmental management and provided the most outstanding eco-service.
Cleankill Pest Control is delighted to announce that the company has reached the finals of the Gatwick Diamond Business Awards.
Customer service is at the heart of the company’s business strategy and so it is particularly heartening that we have been shortlisted, against stiff competition, in the category for ‘Customer Delight’ - sponsored by Storm Creative.
Managing Director Paul Bates said: “Our inclusion in the final three for this category shows that our expertise and a strong customer-based ethos set us apart from many other companies.
