We’ve had some brilliant news. Not only have we been shortlisted in the Large Company of the Year category at the 2023 National Pest Awards, but Alan Day, Team Leader of our Falconry Team, has been named a finalist in the Pest Controller of the Year category.

Alan Day, Team Leader for Cleankill Pest Control’s Bird Control Team, has been shortlisted in the Pest Controller of the Year category of this year’s National Pest Awards.
Cleankill’s hawks delight care home residents
Three members of the Cleankill Pest Control bird control team recently stopped by Hatfield Nursing Home in Hertfordshire with their Harris Hawks. The visit gave residents the opportunity to meet, stroke and ask questions about the hawks.

It doesn’t matter what time of year it is, your property can always have a problem with roosting birds. Aside from the mess these birds leave, there is the potential for diseases to be spread and parts of the building being damaged.
A long-standing customer had a problem with gulls and pigeons at its facility in Ilford, East London. The building’s roof has several large air conditioning units and expensive heat pumps on it, and these needed protecting. At the same time, the area had to remain accessible for maintenance.

Samantha has been with Cleankill since June 2017, starting as a service administrator and then progressing to senior administrator and now administration supervisor. She oversees the team, ensuring requests and enquiries from customers are dealt with in a timely and customer-focussed manner.
Clock tower cleaned up by pest controllers
Cleankill Pest Control has been helping to clean up the famous clock tower in Brighton’s Preston Park.
Pigeons had entered the Grade II listed tower through a broken stained-glass window and taken up residence.
