Cleankill is excited to announce that the company has been shortlisted in not one, but two categories at this year's Gatwick Diamond Business Awards.
Each of the businesses shortlisted has demonstrated exceptional innovation, inspiration and a strong commitment to contributing to Gatwick Diamond’s world-class economic hub. This year Cleankill has reached the finals of the Employee of the Year category (Wayne Baron) and Business Person of the Year (Paul Bates).
The Employee of the Year award, sponsored by Birketts LLP, celebrates an individual who exhibits qualities that inspire their colleagues, the business they work for and the wider business community. Cleankill’s deserving finalist Wayne Baron will be joined by Ineta Brice (Tata Consultancy Services Ltd), Kellyann McGovern (Aircraft Leasing and Management Ltd) and Simon Walker (London Gatwick).
The Business Person of the Year award, sponsored by Lotus Labels, winner will demonstrate a clear vision/strategy and be committed to growing their business. Cleankill’s Managing Director and worthy finalist Paul Bates will be joined by Gary Salters Monroe (GoSucceed Ltd), Gary Tomlinson (SOS Systems Ltd) and Matt Turner MBE (Creative Pod).

The Gatwick Diamond is a key economic area, home to a vast range of businesses which span all sectors. The purpose of this not-for-profit organisation is to support the success of Gatwick Diamond businesses and promote the region. Since 2009, the awards have been a highlight of the business calendar.

The 2026 winners of the prestigious Gatwick Diamond Business Awards will be announced on the 19th March 2026 in the Empress Suite of The Grand Hotel, Brighton. The evening begins with a pre-dinner drinks reception, sponsored by Cleankill Pest Control, before sitting down to enjoy a three-course dinner and wine.
