Starlings have long been considered a common pest bird throughout the UK. They frequently develop huge flocks and often nest in loft spaces and roof voids. However, Starlings are thought to be suffering a decline in numbers and consequently, Natural England (previously DEFRA) has given strict instructions to us all about leaving them alone. So, that’s what we’ll be doing.
If you have starlings nesting in your home or workplace please call us. If it’s a serious problem we may be able to help, but we’ll have to speak to Natural England first. They might say “No!” of course, but there’s no harm asking.
