Cleankill Pest Control has become the first pest control company in the UK to achieve a Silver Investors in People accreditation. Interviewed in this video are Assessor Anne Hyde, Cleankill Director Jon Whitehead and Cleankill Managing Director Paul Bates.
Anne Hyde (IiP Assessor): Investors in People as an accreditation is entirely voluntary and all different types of organisations choose to use it to improve their people practices. Only 20% of organisations are recognised as above our core standard, and achieving Silver is a huge achievement for any organisation because it puts them in the top 30% of recognised organisations. The British Pest Control Association will confirm that no other organisation in the pest control industry has an advanced level of accreditation, so it is a huge achievement for Cleankill. Its very well deserved and it really does represent all the really good work the directors and the team here have put in place.
Jon Whitehead (Cleankill Director): We've just recently achieved the Silver Investors in People award which has been a great achievement for myself and our company and it just shows that someone out there as well as ourselves recognises the training and development that we do with our staff.
Paul Bates (Cleankill Managing Director): We are the only UK pest control company to have gone beyond the basic standard. We were so proud when we achieved Bronze three years ago. Now to have achieved Silver sets us apart from any other pest control company in the UK in the quality of training and the care that we give to our own staff, which then relays itself on to the quality of the service we provide to our customers. It makes me feel extremely proud of the company and of all the people that we employ.
