There are thousands of different types of fly. Fruit fly, cluster fly, bluebottles and yellow swarming flies, to name four. Flies have some horrible habits. They feed on food waste, farm waste and, you know, other waste. Some flies feed on dead animals, others on live animals.
Flies spread bacteria and infection. They are very quick to exploit a situation, especially in the summer. They are highly receptive to chemical stimuli and will appear as if from nowhere. Beer, or vinegar, or fruit, fly, otherwise known as Drosophila (for you A level students), is a good example. As soon as your peaches go off, there they are!!
Fly control is big subject. Look at Malaria! Still, we don’t have problems like that in the UK. Yet!
We have plenty of experience with flies, if you know what we mean. Control methods vary depending on location and species, which is no surprise really! Sometimes, cleaning (or hygiene standards) are the big issue, which is an area we can advise about. However, whether you need an UV Electric fly killing machine, fly screen windows or strip curtain doors, or simply need regular treatment to control them, call us. There are no flies on us!
