Bees

There are many different types of bee. Like Honey bees and Bumble bees. In pest control circles, nobody really likes killing bees, especially honey bees, because they are such industrious, busy little things. If you have a bee problem, try contacting a local beekeeper first (the number is available from your local council office). The beekeeper will decide if a bee’s nest can be saved or not. If not, and if the nest is a little too close for comfort, it can be destroyed. Just remember, unlike wasps, who build new nests each season, bee nests can become well established over the years.

Bumble bees are active pollinators and are very common in gardens during the summer time. Although some species do have stings, they are not aggressive insects. Still, they can be removed if they are upsetting you. Likewise, Masonry bees like chewing through the pointing between bricks, so they can live in the wall cavity. Look for bullet-sized holes in your walls. We can remove these for you, but you will have to fill in the holes yourself!
