About Us

So, to give you an insight into us and what we do, here is a brief outline from start to now! Our company was founded by Clive and Jon in 1995. These two chaps were pondering life over a pint, as you do, wondering what to do about their careers within a large pest control company, when they hit upon the idea that they could run their own company. They knew that the market needed quality pest controllers, who could provide excellent service, but at a sensible price. And so, it began.

Paul and Ian, who used to work with Clive and Jon, were so impressed with Cleankill that they soon wanted in on the action and joined in 1997 and 1998 respectively! And they’ve never looked back. Now, along with the four directors, there are two managers, four admin staff and ten technicians.

The directors remain actively involved in all that we do, from treating dangerous wasp nests to negotiating complex pest management programmes for multi-national companies. Ian heads up the sales team, infusing them with his relaxed and friendly approach, so that you get good reliable advice and quality solutions to your pest problems. Paul’s business acumen puts him in the driving seat for all our business matters. His novel approach to marketing has led to our London underground advertising campaign and pitch side hoardings at football grounds, (glimpsed on Match of the Day once or twice). Jon’s unique talents have made him the ideal candidate for the responsible role of Health and Safety Director. Jon also runs the dedicated bird control team. A wealth of pest control knowledge and a life sciences degree makes Clive our main man when it comes to the tricky business of getting rid of pests.

Not wishing to boast or anything, but we are members of the British Pest Control Association, are an ISO 9001 registered firm, accredited to Safecontractor, Constructionline and Exor. We hold CIS 6 and are Investors in People.
